The Blogosphere

With a little push from my daughter Katelyn, I've decided to start this blog. I can't help but think, though, that it's a little like a late-night radio DJ...is anybody really listening?

I do like to write, but I'm an expert procrastinator, one of the best around, so maybe this blog will help me in my writing, to at least write something. To give you an idea of just how much I procrastinate, look at the date for this post. I'm actually writing these words in August, so it's been seven months since I first set up this blog. I just can't figure out how to change the date.

I write monthly articles on local birding for the online Slocoast Journal--links to the left--and I'm really enjoying doing that. I'm now faced with a deadline every month, and have to come up with (hopefully) interesting subjects because a few people read them. I know at least my Mom does.

My editor tells me she likes my writing style, but she may tell everybody that.
